Imhotep

Imhotep was an ancient Egyptian polymath who lived around 2650-2600 BCE. He is best known as the architect of the Step Pyramid of Djoser, which is considered the first monumental stone building in history. Beyond architecture, Imhotep was also a physician, priest, and sage, contributing significantly to medicine and writing. His name means "the one who comes in peace," and he was later deified, becoming associated with wisdom and healing. Imhotep's influence endures as a symbol of ancient Egyptian achievement in science, architecture, and culture.
