Historical Determinism

Historical Determinism is a theory in philosophy of history that suggests the entire course of human history follows a fixed, inevitable path pre-determined by certain laws, patterns, or forces. It's like believing every event, decision, and action in our past were bound to happen because of previous conditions, almost like dominoes falling in a chain reaction. Critics, however, argue that this discounts human agency, freedom and randomness in shaping our history.
