Ensemble theory
Ensemble theory is a concept from statistical mechanics and physics that helps us understand systems with many particles or components. Instead of analyzing each particle individually, ensemble theory looks at a large collection (or ensemble) of similar systems to determine their average behavior and properties. This approach simplifies complex systems by focusing on the overall trends and distributions, rather than specific details. It is particularly useful in predicting the behavior of gases, liquids, and other materials in thermodynamics, where individual interactions can be too intricate to study thoroughly.
