Color temperature
Color temperature describes the warmth or coolness of light, measured in Kelvin (K). It helps us understand how different types of light appear to our eyes. A lower color temperature (around 2000-3000K) produces warm, yellowish light, similar to candlelight or sunrise, making spaces feel cozy. A higher temperature (5000K and above) emits a cool, bluish light, like daylight or a clear sky, creating a more energized atmosphere. Understanding color temperature can help you choose the right lighting for various settings, enhancing mood and functionality in homes, offices, and photography.
