Color Science

Color science studies how we perceive color and how it interacts with light. At its core, it examines how light waves, reflecting off objects, reach our eyes and are processed by our brain. Colors can be described using three main attributes: hue (the color itself), saturation (intensity or purity of the color), and brightness (lightness or darkness). Different devices, like screens and printers, use color models (like RGB for screens and CMYK for printing) to reproduce colors accurately. Understanding these principles is crucial in art, design, and various technologies where color plays a vital role.
