Chinese cosmology
Chinese cosmology is the philosophical framework describing the universe's structure and dynamics in ancient Chinese thought. It emphasizes harmony and balance, often illustrated through the concepts of Yin (feminine, passive) and Yang (masculine, active), representing opposite forces that interact to create life and motion. Central to this cosmology is the idea of the "Dao" (or "Tao"), a fundamental principle that underlies and unites all things. The universe is seen as an interconnected whole, where humans are an integral part of a larger cosmic order, promoting the idea of aligning one's life with these natural rhythms for harmony and balance.
