Brainwave Patterns
Brainwave patterns are electrical impulses in the brain, produced by groups of neurons communicating. They are measured in hertz (Hz) and classified into different types based on their frequency: Delta (0.5-4 Hz, deep sleep), Theta (4-8 Hz, relaxation and creativity), Alpha (8-12 Hz, calm alertness), Beta (12-30 Hz, active thinking and focus), and Gamma (30 Hz and above, high-level information processing). These patterns reflect our mental state and can change based on our activities, emotions, and overall brain health, providing insight into how our mind operates in various circumstances.
