Beta Waves
Beta waves are a type of brain activity with a frequency of about 13 to 30 Hz, typically associated with active thinking, concentration, problem-solving, and alertness. They reflect the brain being engaged in external tasks or mental focus. When you're working on a task, reading, or communicating, your brain produces these waves. Higher levels of beta waves can also be linked to stress or anxiety, while lower levels may relate to relaxation or idleness. They are one of several brain wave types that show different states of mental activity.
