Zoroastrian cosmology
Zoroastrian cosmology views the universe as a battleground between good and evil. It centers around Ahura Mazda, the supreme god, who embodies truth and light, and Angra Mainyu (Ahriman), the spirit of chaos and darkness. Creation is seen as a series of stages leading to the ultimate triumph of good. The world is structured in seven realms, corresponding to the elements of nature. Human beings have a key role, as their choices can aid in the cosmic struggle. Ultimately, Zoroastrians believe in a final judgment, where the good will be rewarded, and evil will be defeated.
