Parsis

Parsis are members of a religious community primarily based in India and Pakistan who follow Zoroastrianism, one of the world's oldest known religions founded in ancient Persia (modern-day Iran). They believe in the teachings of the prophet Zoroaster and emphasize principles of good thoughts, good words, and good deeds. Parsis traditionally practice fire worship and maintain distinct cultural traditions. Despite being a small community today, they have historically contributed significantly to commerce, industry, and social development in their regions. Their culture blends ancient Persian heritage with influences from Indian society.
