Ahura Mazda (Zoroastrian god)
Ahura Mazda is the supreme god in Zoroastrianism, one of the world's oldest monotheistic religions, founded by the prophet Zoroaster in ancient Persia (modern-day Iran). He represents truth, light, and goodness and is seen as the creator of the universe. Zoroastrians believe he embodies wisdom and is in constant opposition to Angra Mainyu, the spirit of chaos and evil. The teachings emphasize the importance of good thoughts, good words, and good deeds, guiding adherents toward a moral life aimed at ensuring harmony and order in the world. Ahura Mazda remains central to Zoroastrian faith and practice today.
