Fire Temples
Fire temples, known as "Atash Behrams" or "Agiyaris," are places of worship in Zoroastrianism, the ancient religion from Persia (modern-day Iran). They are sacred spaces where the fire, representing purity and the divine, is kept burning continuously. Worshippers visit fire temples to pray, participate in rituals, and seek blessings. The fire is maintained by priests, and it is often fed with sacred materials. Fire temples serve not only as religious centers but also as community hubs, preserving Zoroastrian culture and traditions in a world where their numbers are declining.
