Iranian Zoroastrians
Iranian Zoroastrians are followers of the ancient religion founded by the prophet Zoroaster (Zarathustra), emphasizing the duality of good and evil, and the importance of personal moral choice. Once the dominant faith in Persia, their community has significantly diminished due to historical challenges. Today, they primarily reside in Iran and India (where they are known as Parsis), maintaining religious practices such as prayer, ritual fire worship, and moral principles like truth, righteousness, and purity. Despite their small numbers, Iranian Zoroastrians preserve a rich cultural and spiritual heritage reflecting a civilization that predates many other world religions.
