Volcano
A volcano is an opening in the Earth’s surface through which molten rock (magma), gases, and ash can erupt. When pressure builds up beneath the Earth, magma rises and can cause an explosive eruption, resulting in lava flows, ash clouds, and volcanic gases. Volcanoes can be found on land or underwater and vary in shape and size. They play a crucial role in shaping the Earth’s landscape and can create new landforms, such as islands. While they can be destructive, volcanoes also contribute to soil fertility and are an important part of the Earth’s geological processes.
