UVA

UVA, or ultraviolet A, is a type of ultraviolet radiation from the sun that has a longer wavelength than UVB rays. It penetrates the skin more deeply and is associated with skin aging and wrinkles. UVA rays can also play a role in the development of skin cancer. Unlike UVB, which is most intense in the summer and can cause sunburn, UVA rays are present throughout the year and can pass through windows, making sun protection important year-round. Wearing broad-spectrum sunscreen and protective clothing can help shield against its harmful effects.
