Ultraviolet-A (UVA)
Ultraviolet-A (UVA) is a type of ultraviolet light from the sun that reaches the Earth's surface. It has the longest wavelength among UV rays and can penetrate deep into the skin's layers. UVA is primarily associated with skin aging, such as wrinkles and dark spots, and may contribute to skin cancer over time. Unlike UVB, UVA can penetrate glass and clouds, making exposure common even indoors or on cloudy days. To protect your skin, it's advisable to wear broad-spectrum sunscreen, protective clothing, and limit prolonged sun exposure, especially during peak hours.
