Theories of Planned Behavior
The Theory of Planned Behavior suggests that our intentions to perform a behavior are influenced by three main factors: our attitudes (how we feel about the behavior), subjective norms (what we think others believe we should do), and perceived behavioral control (our belief in our ability to perform the behavior). Together, these factors shape our intentions, which then guide our actual behaviors. Essentially, if we have positive views, feel social pressure to act, and believe we can do it, we are more likely to follow through on our intentions.
