Sultan Tipu

Sultan Tipu, also known as Tipu Sultan, was the ruler of the Kingdom of Mysore in southern India from 1782 to 1799. He is best known for his fierce resistance against British colonial expansion in India during the late 18th century. A visionary leader and military strategist, Tipu introduced innovative technologies and tactics in warfare and governance. He sought to enhance his kingdom's economy and promote religious tolerance. Tipu Sultan's legacy includes his role as a symbol of resistance against colonialism, and he remains a significant historical figure in India’s struggle for independence. He died in battle against the British in 1799.
