Spondylosis

Spondylosis is a general term for age-related wear and tear of the spinal discs and joints, often called degenerative disc disease. It occurs as the spine changes over time, leading to stiffness, pain, and reduced mobility. Symptoms may include back or neck pain, and in severe cases, nerve compression can cause numbness or weakness in the arms or legs. While spondylosis is common and not always serious, it can affect daily life. Treatment options range from physical therapy and medications to more invasive procedures, depending on the severity of the symptoms.
