Sitar

The sitar is a traditional stringed musical instrument from India, known for its distinctive sound and rich cultural heritage. It features a long neck, a gourd-shaped body, and typically has 18 to 21 strings. The sitar is played by plucking the strings with a plectrum, called a mizrab. It is used in Hindustani classical music and has also been incorporated into various modern genres.
