Rosselli brothers
The Rosselli brothers, Alberto and Giuseppe, were prominent figures in the early 20th-century Italian anti-fascist movement. Both were born in the late 1890s and were intellectuals who opposed the dictatorship of Benito Mussolini. Alberto was involved in publishing and promoting socialist ideas, while Giuseppe focused on organizing labor movements. In 1926, they were assassinated in Paris by fascist agents, which highlighted the lengths the Italian regime would go to suppress dissent. Their legacy continues to inspire discussions on resistance, democracy, and the fight against totalitarianism.
