Nello Rosselli
Nello Rosselli was an Italian historian, politician, and anti-fascist activist born in 1897. Along with his brother, Giuseppe Rosselli, he passionately opposed Italy's fascist regime and sought democratic reforms. Nello contributed to documenting Italy’s political history and promoting human rights. His efforts made him a target for fascist authorities, and he was ultimately murdered in 1937 by political enemies in France, reflecting the brutal repression of dissent during that era. His legacy endures as a symbol of resistance against dictatorship and for the defense of democratic principles.
