Carlo Rosselli

Carlo Rosselli (1899-1937) was an Italian liberal socialist, anti-fascist, and influential political thinker. He opposed the rise of fascism in Italy and worked tirelessly for democracy and social justice. Rosselli co-founded the movement "Giustizia e Libertà," which sought to unite various anti-fascist forces. He believed in the importance of civil liberties and individual rights. In 1937, he was assassinated in France by fascist agents, which marked him as a martyr for the anti-fascist cause. His writings and activism continue to inspire those fighting against authoritarianism and for social equality.
