RIASEC model

The RIASEC model, developed by psychologist John Holland, categorizes career interests into six types: Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional. Each type represents different personality traits and work preferences. Realistic individuals enjoy hands-on tasks, Investigative types are curious and analytical, Artistic people are creative, Social individuals are helpful and nurturing, Enterprising types are assertive and leadership-oriented, and Conventional types prefer structured environments and organization. Understanding where you or someone else fits within these categories can help in choosing a satisfying and suitable career path.
