Radical Reformation

The Radical Reformation was a movement in the 16th century that emerged alongside the Protestant Reformation, but it sought more radical changes to Christianity. Unlike mainstream reformers like Martin Luther, who aimed to reform the Catholic Church, groups such as the Anabaptists and others believed in complete separation from the state and a return to the original teachings of Jesus. They advocated for adult baptism, emphasized personal faith, and rejected practices they saw as unbiblical. Their ideas led to the establishment of various sects and a focus on community and simplicity in worship.
