Prussia
Prussia was a historical region and state in central Europe, prominent from the 16th to the 20th centuries. Originating as a duchy, it became a powerful kingdom known for its military strength, efficient bureaucracy, and influence on European politics. Prussia played a key role in unifying Germany in the 19th century, under the leadership of Otto von Bismarck. The kingdom's capital was Königsberg, and after World War I, Prussia was dissolved, with its territories divided among Poland, Germany, and Russia. Today, "Prussian" often refers to the military and administrative legacy of the region.
