Predestination and Providence

Predestination, in religious philosophy, is the belief that everything that happens, especially your salvation or damnation, is already determined by God before your birth. Providence, on the other hand, is the belief that God continuously upholds and governs all events in the universe. It promotes the concept that everything, good or bad, forms part of a larger divine plan, guiding a person's actions towards what is right or beneficial.
