Molinism
Molinism is a theological concept that seeks to reconcile God's sovereignty with human free will. It posits that God has middle knowledge, which means He knows all possible outcomes of human choices. This allows Him to foresee how people would act in various circumstances. In terms of predestination, Molinism suggests that God predestines individuals based on this knowledge, allowing for divine providence while preserving free will. Thus, God orchestrates events in the world to fulfill His purposes without overriding human decisions, providing a balance between divine control and human agency.
