Piaget
Jean Piaget was a Swiss psychologist best known for his theory of cognitive development in children. He proposed that children learn and understand the world in progressive stages: sensory-motor (birth to 2 years), preoperational (2 to 7 years), concrete operational (7 to 11 years), and formal operational (12 years and up). Each stage reflects a different way of thinking, with children actively constructing knowledge through experiences and interactions. Piaget emphasized that this developmental process is universal, meaning all children go through these stages, but the age at which they transition can vary.
