Pavlovian Response
A Pavlovian response, also known as classical conditioning, is a learning process where an association is formed between a neutral stimulus and a stimulus that naturally provokes a response. This concept was famously demonstrated by Ivan Pavlov, who conditioned dogs to salivate at the sound of a bell by pairing it with the presentation of food. Over time, the dogs learned to associate the bell with feeding, leading to salivation even without food. This principle shows how behaviors can be learned through repeated experiences and associations in our environment.
