Pavlov

Ivan Pavlov was a Russian physiologist best known for his research on classical conditioning. His most famous experiment involved dogs, where he discovered that they could be trained to salivate at the sound of a bell if that sound was consistently paired with the presentation of food. This demonstrated that animals (and humans) can learn to associate a neutral stimulus with a meaningful one, leading to a conditioned response. Pavlov's work laid the groundwork for behaviorism in psychology, influencing how we understand learning and behavior in both animals and people.
