Operation Telic
Operation Telic was the codename for the British military's involvement in the Iraq War, which began in March 2003. Its primary objective was to support the United States-led coalition in invading Iraq to remove dictator Saddam Hussein from power. The operation involved a combination of military action, stabilization efforts, and rebuilding the country after the regime's collapse. Operation Telic officially ended in April 2009, transitioning into a role focused on training Iraqi security forces and assisting in reconstruction, reflecting the shift from combat operations to stabilization and support missions.
