Nawab of Hyderabad

The Nawab of Hyderabad was the ruler of the princely state of Hyderabad in India during the 18th and 19th centuries. Nawabs were essentially Muslim officials who governed large estates, often with considerable autonomy. Hyderabad was known for its wealth, culture, and architecture, including the famous Charminar. The last Nawab, Mir Osman Ali Pasha, ruled until the Indian government integrated Hyderabad into the Indian Union in 1948. The Nawab's administration was notable for its development initiatives and contributions to arts and education, leaving a lasting legacy in the region's history and culture.
