Mental Imagery

Mental imagery refers to the ability to create images in our mind without directly perceiving them through our senses. This process allows us to visualize experiences, objects, or scenarios that aren't currently present. For instance, when you recall a friend's face or imagine a beautiful landscape, you're using mental imagery. It plays a vital role in our thinking, problem-solving, and creativity, acting as a form of mental representation that helps us plan actions or simulate experiences. Essentially, it's how our minds can "see" things even when our eyes are closed.
