Heart

The heart is a muscular organ that functions as a pump, circulating blood throughout the body. It has four chambers: two upper atria and two lower ventricles. The right side receives oxygen-poor blood from the body and pumps it to the lungs for oxygen. The left side receives oxygen-rich blood from the lungs and sends it out to nourish organs and tissues. The heart maintains continuous, rhythmic contractions, driven by electrical signals, to ensure vital nutrients and oxygen reach cells while removing waste products. It is essential for sustaining life and supporting overall health.
