Hazaras
Hazaras are an ethnic group primarily found in Afghanistan, known for their distinct cultural identity and history. They speak Hazaragi, a dialect of Persian, and are predominantly Shia Muslims, which sets them apart from the Sunni-majority population in Afghanistan. Historically, Hazaras have faced social and political marginalization, leading to significant challenges, including discrimination and violence. Their traditional homeland is the central highlands of Afghanistan, known as Hazarajat. The Hazaras are recognized for their rich cultural heritage, including unique music, poetry, and festivals, and have contributed significantly to Afghan society despite the adversities they face.
