Glagolitic literature
Glagolitic literature refers to texts written in the Glagolitic script, one of the oldest Slavic alphabets, created in the 9th century by Saints Cyril and Methodius. This script was used primarily by the Slavic peoples for religious and cultural writings, including translations of the Bible and liturgical texts. Glagolitic literature played a crucial role in the development of Slavic languages and Christianity in the region. While it eventually fell out of use in favor of the Cyrillic alphabet, it remains significant for its historical impact on Slavic identity and culture.
