Friction Force
Friction force is the resistance that occurs when two surfaces slide or attempt to slide against each other. It arises from the microscopic irregularities on the surfaces touching each other. This force can either help, like when it allows you to walk or drive without slipping, or hinder motion, as in the case of a heavy object being difficult to move. Friction depends on the nature of the surfaces and the force pressing them together. Essentially, it plays a crucial role in everyday life by enabling movement but also requiring energy to overcome it.
