Fourier Optics

Fourier Optics is a way of examining and managing light waves. It uses principles of Fourier mathematics, typically used in signal processing, to understand how lenses and other systems change light waves. Just like in music, where different frequencies combine to create a sound, in light different frequency components form an image. With Fourier Optics, these components can be isolated, analyzed, and even manipulated, allowing us to refine, enhance, or modify images through controlling light. This field is vital in disciplines like physics, engineering, and especially in technologies like holography and image processing.
