Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA)
The Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) is a proposed U.S. law aimed at prohibiting workplace discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. If passed, it would make it illegal for employers to fire, refuse to hire, or otherwise discriminate against employees because of their LGBTQ+ status. ENDA seeks to promote equality in the workforce and ensure that all individuals can work without fear of being treated unfairly due to who they love or how they identify. While the act has been introduced multiple times in Congress, it has not yet become law.
