Durani Empire

The Durani Empire, founded in the mid-18th century by Ahmad Shah Durrani, was a significant state in South Asia, particularly in what is now Afghanistan. It arose after the decline of the Mughal Empire and brought together various Pashtun tribes to form a unified kingdom. The empire reached its height in the 1760s, encompassing parts of modern-day Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India.
