Divine Omniscience
Divine omniscience refers to the belief that God possesses complete and perfect knowledge of everything—past, present, and future. This concept is central in philosophical theology and religious discourse, as it raises questions about free will: If God knows our choices beforehand, how can we truly have freedom? Omniscience also impacts religious epistemology, influencing how believers understand divine revelation and truth. Essentially, divine omniscience suggests that God sees the entirety of existence and understands every aspect of reality, including human thoughts and actions, which prompts deeper reflection on the nature of knowledge, existence, and morality in a religious context.
