Theism
Theism is the belief in a personal God who actively engages with the universe and humans. In ontology, it posits that God exists as a necessary being distinct from creation. In epistemology of religion, theism suggests that knowledge of God can be gained through revelation, experiences, and reason. The laws of nature are seen as God’s created order. Theists often view faith as trust in God while recognizing reason's role in understanding truth. Miracles, seen as divine interventions, affirm God's presence and power. Together, these aspects illustrate the relationship between God, existence, and human understanding.
