Co-Dependents Anonymous
Co-Dependents Anonymous (CoDA) is a self-help organization aimed at individuals who struggle with codependency—an unhealthy reliance on others for emotional support, identity, or self-worth. Participants share experiences and support one another in recovering from behaviors that negatively impact their relationships and personal well-being. CoDA provides a safe space where members can explore their feelings, set boundaries, and learn healthier ways to relate to themselves and others. The program is built on a 12-step framework similar to Alcoholics Anonymous, focusing on personal growth and fostering healthier relationships.
