Celts

The Celts were a diverse group of tribal societies that lived across Europe, particularly in regions like modern-day Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and parts of France and Central Europe, around 500 BC to AD 500. They are known for their distinct languages, art, and mythology. The Celts developed a rich cultural heritage, characterized by intricate metalwork, colorful textiles, and storytelling traditions. Although they did not form a unified nation, their shared cultural traits influenced many areas, contributing to European history. The Roman conquests and later migrations significantly impacted Celtic societies, leading to their gradual decline and assimilation into other cultures.
