Druids

Druids were ancient Celtic religious leaders and scholars, primarily active from around 300 BCE to 300 CE in regions like Britain and Gaul. They served as priests, teachers, and judges, playing a vital role in Celtic society. Druids are known for their deep connection to nature, spirituality, and oral traditions. They conducted rituals, advised rulers, and preserved knowledge about the universe. Much of what we know about them comes from Roman and later accounts, which can be biased. Today, they are often romanticized as symbols of nature spirituality in modern paganism.
