Celtic Britain and Gaul
Celtic Britain and Gaul were regions inhabited by Celtic tribes during ancient times. Celtic Britain refers to the land now known as England, Wales, and parts of Scotland, where tribes like the Britons lived. Gaul covered modern-day France, Belgium, and parts of Switzerland, inhabited by various Celtic groups such as the Gauls. Both regions shared a common culture characterized by their language, art, and social structures. They were united by Celtic traditions but also divided into distinct tribes, each with its own identity, especially before the Roman conquests in the 1st century BCE.
