Cannibalism
Cannibalism is the act of one individual consuming the flesh or internal organs of another individual of the same species. While often associated with certain historical tribes or extreme survival situations, it also appears in nature among some animals. In humans, cannibalism has cultural, ritualistic, and psychological dimensions, sometimes linked to beliefs, food scarcity, or mental health issues. Despite its portrayal in media and folklore, cannibalism remains illegal and socially taboo in most societies today. Ethically, it raises significant moral questions about human rights and dignity.
