Blue Zone Project
The Blue Zone Project focuses on regions around the world where people live significantly longer, healthier lives—often reaching age 100 or more. These regions, called "Blue Zones," include places like Okinawa in Japan and Sardinia in Italy. Researchers have identified common lifestyle factors among these communities, such as plant-based diets, regular physical activity, strong social connections, and a sense of purpose. The project aims to promote these principles in other communities to improve overall health and longevity, encouraging changes in diet, lifestyle, and social engagement that can lead to a better quality of life.
