Autocratic Monarchy
An autocratic monarchy, specifically in the context of absolute monarchy, is a form of government where one individual, the monarch, holds total power over the state and its people. This monarch makes decisions without needing approval from a legislature or the citizens. Unlike constitutional monarchies, where the monarch's powers are limited by laws or a constitution, in an absolute monarchy, the monarch's authority is unchecked. This means they can create laws, govern the country, and dictate policies according to their will, often claiming to rule by divine right or based on tradition.
